She didn't look much like she does on the telly, and like she wasn't crocheting or anything... ***************************** Max (Pete), his old mum (Corinne) and Teresa (?) holding placards outside Channel 10 that say "Tonia Todman rules"... Max's mum: yeah, we saw Tonia two weeks ago...Teresa yelled out to her, "Hey Tonia, give us a wave!"...Teresa: She mustn't have heard"...Max, "I saw her yesterday"...Max's mum: Max, you did not, that was Madge from Neighbours...you don't even know what she looks like, you have never even seen Healthy, Wealthy and Wise"...Max,"I reckon it was Tonia Todman." *********************************** Lady in a cafe (Corinne) : September 16, 1997. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was sitting here and my boyfriend, well my ex-boyfriend was sitting here. We were celebrating our 6 week anniversary...we broke up three days later...anyway, that doesn't matter...so I was sitting here and Philip was sitting there and I was commenting to Philip on how an entree server pasta usually satisfies me...then...she came in...she sat just over there near the, um drinks thingie and she was wearing like this beautiful, um cashmere like win set thing and this like amazing pearl number around her neck...and she ordered a Ceaser salad and a glass of the house white....I couldn't believe it ! Tonia Todman - right here, just sitting four tables across...she was with a man...I thought it was Jeff Jantz, but my boyfriend, well my ex-boyfriend said it wasn't...you know, her and Jeff would make a lovely couple, yeah... ****************************** Truckie (Dave): I was fillin' up Bazza. Bazza's me rig, but next thing this Volvo pulls up at this pump over here...out jumps Tonia bloody Todman...I knew it was her 'cause I've seen her on the telly. I couldn't believe my luck...so, I'm just scratchin' me nuts...run up to her and go..."You're Tonia bloody Todman...Iknow who you are 'cause I've seen you on the telly..." And she goes, "Yes I am" So, ah...I get her to sign me ass...you wanna have a look ? I'll just drop me dacks for you, yeah check that out. It's faded a bit, but it's definately hers.
