ROVE : I thinks its time to get on the phone to the Channel Nine switchboard and lets see if anybody has been phoning in to complain. Lets see if this whole swearing controversy thing has actually worked.....

SWITCH : Channel Nine, can I help you?

ROVE : Oh yes, hello my name's Rove Mc Manus...are you watching me at the moment ?

SWITCH : I am watching you at the moment.

ROVE : Oh thank you. What's your name ?

SWITCH : Thea.

ROVE : Thea ? How are you Thea ?

SWITCH : Good Rove, how are you ?

ROVE : I'm marvellous. Now, I was just wondering if anyone has actually called up at all to complain abut our controversial language tonight ?

SWITCH : Oh, I'd have to put you through to publicity for that, Rove.

ROVE : Publicity ? Are they still up ?

SWITCH : No, they're not, but I can't comment on that.

ROVE : You can't tell us if anyones called up ?

SWITCH : No, I can't .

ROVE : Why not ?

SWITCH : Company policy.

ROVE : Is it really !?

SWITCH : Yeah, I've probably worked here a bit longer than you have.

ROVE : Fair enough...well Thea, you have yourself a good night now won't you?

SWITCH : Yeah I will, Rove.

ROVE : Keep those calls coming !

SWITCH : Yes indeed. Okay Rove, bye...
