[rove home] [rove episode guide] [rove transcripts] [rove/pete/corinne/dave pics] ROVE MONOLOGUE EPISODE SIX Welcome, welcome...right off the top, I have to say I'm very tired...so, I apologise, it's just that I've been on the internet all night bidding for model ovums, so...ahhh...yes, someone knows what I'm talking about...ooooh...Yeah, they're putting their spawn out to the highest, biggest bidder. For those of you who don't know, a group of models have put their eggs, their human eggs on the internet to go out to the highest bidder. Whoever bids the most money gets to take them home, somehow anyway. Now, this has been put up by a man by the name of Ron Harris, who...it was his idea and he is a former horse breeder and film maker for Playboy, so it's nice that he's found a job that now blends the two together. It's mavelous...but I think It's a really weird idea to come up with. I think the peopole that are going to be hurt the most by this are the kids that come from these eggs, at the end of the day...'cause it's a very awkward time when a kid finally goes up to their mum and dad and says, "Where do babies come from ? " ...and the parents are now going to turn around and say, "Well...when a man really loves a woman...he gets out the credit card and double clicks on a really hot model !" There is actually a screening process because obviously this is pretty hard for the models too...they don't know who's going to be coming in and asking...so, there is an internet screening process so that the models themselves know that their eggs aren't going out to some GEEK...that was an internet gag...it's ok...it's alright...we'll edit that out when it goes to air...the other problem is people who are actually making bids on the eggs are actually starting to question the capability of the models. They want to know what their star signs are, do they have any medical history, and they're actually starting to question the model donors intelligence. Okay, the models have been a bit slighted by this and someone actually asked them, look how do you take to this? People are saying that you might be a little bit stupid and the models have turned around and said..."I LIKE ICECREAM!"...that's the 2nd time I've used that punchline this series...there'll be more coming my friends...and this has been so sucessful that they're actually going to have one for models, for male models very soon where they'll be putting their sperm on the internet, but quite frankly, I don't know if anyone's going to be bidding too highly on sperm from a wanker...if you know what I mean...alright...lets go talk to the kids on the couch...
