ROVE MONOLOGUE EPISODE TWO

Shhh!!! Keep it down, the neighbours are complaining...yes, as you can see, right at the top of the show, we're trying to cash in on the swearing that's going across the country at the moment. We all up for that ? Ooooh yeah...! Damn straight...oh, someone's got fiesty down here all of a sudden...swearing...Now, obviously for those of you who aren't aware, during the course of the week, "60 Minutes" ran the "F word" story, and the next night "Sex in The City", here on the Nine Network as well said the "C word".

So, yeah, careful now...so I thought, well heck, you know that's good, controversy, gets a bit of ratings...the people talk, they call on the phones...Right now tonight, I'll tell ya right up top, I might get in on the swearing myself...Might say NIPPLE...might say BUTTOCKS...so you know, rockin' the boat, I'll be doin' that for sure! But it's gone under so much fire this week. Everyone's been complaining about the language on "60 Minutes", the language on " Sex in the City". What I can't understand is why hasn't anyone called up about "Home and Away" ?

Alright. Now, I was watching that tonight and Alf Stewart, I heard him say "bloody, flaming mongrel" in the same sentence. Granted, it was in context...He said "Fisher, you're a bloody flaming mongrel" ...Fair enough...and just the other day, I could have sworn I heard Humphrey clap a little suggestively. But you didn't hear it from me ! So that's the big problem this week and if you did actually watch the story on "60 Minutes", there was a police officer, police cheif from New South Wales I believe it was, who said he was going to crack down on swearing...which I think is great. It's going to be a case of "Sarge ! I think he's about to say BOOBIES !!! " ...that's my first BOOBIES gag for the series. There'll be plenty more coming, make no doubt about it !

Now all police will have to be armed with a bar of soap to wash peoples mouths out. But, despite all this controversy about the big "F word" story, everyone's sorta jumped on top of it...but I think it's going to be just as bad next week when Jeff Mc Mullin runs his story on Muttleys (....?!...)You should watch out for that, the phones will be running hot. So just be wary that words will be dropped. Brace yourself.
