James Moffett is from a small country river town in South Australia called Goolwa. He has headlined, featured and MC'd at various comedy rooms around Australia, as well as performed in India, KL and Singapore!

At age 20, he moved to Byron Bay, where he turned to stand-up comedy after his chosen career of massage therapist failed to live up to his expectations. James thought he would be massaging "all the hot chicks", where in reality he spent his days massaging "hairy backed gorilla men!"

In 2006, James co-hosted "The Bandwagon" radio show on Bay FM, Byron Bay for over a year. "The Bandwagon" began as a late night radio show, but soon moved to drive time due to it's popularity. James has also performed various voiceovers for Power FM.

For six months in 2008, James worked as a stunt man and extra on the Steven Speilberg/Tom Hanks mini-series "The Pacific", which is the sequel to the award-winning "Band Of Brothers". "The Pacific" is due for release in 2010. James has also appeared as an extra in various other movies, tv shows and commercials.

A state finalist in Triple JJJ's Raw Comedy, and a finalist in Canberra's Green Faces, James is also a regular at various comedy festivals. In 2008 he appeared in "Brain Date" at the Bangalow Big Joke Festival, as well as became a finalist in the Village Idiot Competiton at the same festival.

In 2009, James was a featured guest on Channel 31's "The Comic Box". He also performed his solo show, "The Water Revolution" at the St Kilda Laughs Festival, and co-starred in "Fight Comic" at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

If that was not enough, James also completed a 20 date tour of his solo show, "Random Acts Of Wrongness" in 2009 where he appeared at some of the toughest pubs in "the middle of nowhere" Western Australia - including a rifle range! They did not shoot him, so he must have been funny.

In August 2009, James was invited to tour India alongside UK comic, Gordon Southern, where he performed to massive crowds in multiple 800 seater venues. On his return to Australia, James was immediately back on the road again performing his "Random Acts of Wrongness" shows all over QLD, ACT & NSW.

James returned overseas in December 2009 where he performed shows at The Comedy Club in Singapore and The Comedy Club, KL.
