Every week, Epod will be issuing a challenge to Mr Riminton to complete. To see past challenges and whether they were completed successfully, please scroll to the bottom of this page. This weeks challenge for is as follows (w/e 30/08/02) Talk the lighting people into doing a different, extra special lighting effect at the end of each edition of Nightline Have you got a challenge for Mr Riminton? Fill in the form below with your details, write a description of your challenge, send it to Epod and it *may* appear on this page if I think it is cool enough ;) Challenge for week ending 29/03/02 : Discreetly say the word "bananas" during Nightline. This challenge wasn't completed...there were plenty of times he could have said bananas though...*cough*...well if he didn't mind getting fired that is ;) For example...there was a Wayne Carey (that naughty footballer) story and he could have said "Wayne Carey is now aware that it is perhaps not a good idea to offer to share his bananas with his team mates wives." Hmm. maybe not. Challenge for week ending 05/04/02 : Interview Epod via email + I have also had a request that "monkey" is said at some point this week ;) Hmm...this challenge wasn't completed...but...at least he tried the monkey thing, which is to be commended. Mr Hugh did send me an email asking if I had noticed him say "gorilla" when the script actually said "guerrilla"...erm...hmm...no, sorry...I'm sure I will notice the next time he does it though *wink* ;) Media Watch returns on Monday April 8th...so perhaps they might notice it too...I didn't get an interview in my email either but well...I'll wait...*smirk* Challenge for week ending 12/04/02 : Change your tie during each ad break one night and also wink whenever you say "that was the day". Nups...he didn't complete this challenge...but...seeing him read the story on bananas on Friday night made everything alright. Hehe. Challenge for week ending 19/04/02 : Issue Epod with a challenge of the week!!! Umm...I'm starting to sense a pattern appearing here...*cough*. Hmm. maybe next week. Challenge for week ending week ending 26/04/02 : Contribute some words to the creative writing section. Errmm...well...Mr Hugh *did* answer my interview questions... Challenge for week ending 03/05/02 :Complete any one of the previous uncompleted challenges of the week...or...anything else which will surprise Epod ;) Nup :P Challenge for week ending 10/05/02 : Pick a favourite tie and then get as many Channel Nine personalities to wear it on air during the week ;) Errrrmmm...*cough* I don't watch too many Channel Nine shows so I wouldn't know :P Challenge for week ending 17/05/02 : Convince the Channel Nine graphics department to write "EPOD" inbetween the letters that scroll across the bottom of the screen saying "NIGHTLINE" As if! Challenge for the week ending 24/05/02 : This week, thanks to much help from Naomi, Mr Hugh was requested to perform a number of tasks in the dark *ahem* shufflemulticolouredpaperstappenondeskputpeninpocket Mr Hugh did lots of things in the dark last week...including a couple of variations of the shufflepapersputpeninpocketremoveglasses manouver. Challenge for the week ending 31/05/02 : Vary your "That was the day" speil ever so slightly. Ermm...maybe he did...I really don't know cause I have been half asleep when watching Nightline this week. Sorry for anyone who cares...Mr Hugh did do the take off the glasses thing though and that was enough to keep me happy ;) Challenge for the week ending 07/06/02 : Attempt this new manouver : shufflethepaperstakepenoutofpocketremovetie Close enough, but not good enough ;) Challenge for the week ending 14/06/02 : Ooookies. This one's easy : shufflethepaperstakepenoutofpocketfiddlewiththetie YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! CHALLENGE COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY MONDAY 11/06/02 Challenge for the week ending 21/06/02 : Interview epod via email ;) Ummmm...it hasn't happened...yet *waits patiently*... Challenge for the week ending : 23/08/02 Incorporate as many of the Nightline crew as extras in the closing moments of Nightline ;) Didn't even try ;( but did shuffle some papers with EPOD written on the back of them again, so all is forgiven...for now ;) |
