Rich Hall - transcript of Hey Hey Its Saturday appearance

Oh thanks for having me back on this lovely Saturday night. Oh god! Oh great! What a great Saturday night it is huh? Hi! Well, who would've thought it would rain? Out there? Friday, yesterday was so beautiful...suddenly hail storms! locusts! What happened? I've been here, and this is my second time in Australia. It's my favourite country because I love to read, "The Herald Sun", which makes no sense whatsoever, absolutely no sense...so I read the obituaries of people I don't know. I don't know....do you? No?

Trapped on the tram, there's nowhere to get off and you read...then I go home, and I cross the names out of the phonebook...alright, maybe that's a little bit much, but I think a man should be organised, everybody in Australia though dies..."peacefully", or "sudddenly"...well done! Great! I mean, it's not great that they died, it's just weird. It's just kind of nice that they say, "Mildred Williams passed away...peacefully...", or suddenly...ooh, there must be other ways to die? Really, come on, besides "peacefully". So, there must be other ways, like if you got drunk and lit a match, held it up to your petral tank to see if it was empty, you'd die....spectacularly wouldn't ya? You would? You think it's possible to die "peacefully" and "suddenly" at the same time? Lets say you got hit by a truck full of camomile tea? That could happen right?
