RICHARD HERRING

I had only heard of Richard Herring by name only, through his association with Stewart Lee, but had never actually seen any of his work until I accidentally stumbled across his website where he writes the brilliant, "Warming Up". I love reading it as it usually makes me laugh and it also inspires me to put more work into my own diary - although my diary hardly compares!

Even though he says on his site that Warming Up is not really a diary, it's more than a diary than my diary is as he has been writing it every day for years, as opposed to my updates which tend to get pretty sparse. Richard has done a massive amount of work, none of which I have seen yet (other than Warming Up), but hope to see one of his shows in person some day!
