PAUL MCDERMOTT

I first saw Paul McDermott as part of The Doug Anthony Allstars who were a rude, crude, vulgar and disgusting (and very funny) Australian comedy trio. I met and interviewed DAAS just prior to when they split up which was pretty special, but omg was I scared prior to the interview, not at all sure what to expect! I needn't have worried though as they were great to talk to!

I loved watching Good News Week, which Paul hosted and I went to heaps of GNW tapings in Sydney which were awesome. Seeing the show being taped in person was much better than seeing it on the telly after all the rude bits had been edited out. As tapings took so long (around 4-5 hours), they also tested my bladder control which was quite possibly also a good thing.

After GNW finished, Paul has done a heap of stuff including making a film, writing books, appearing on Sunrise, hosting Strictly Dancing, and also as part of his new group, Gud.
