LEON

Leon was the crew member of the week - every week - on Big Brother Up Late in 2004. Each week Mike Goldman (the host of Up Late) would introduce Leon, who was unfortunately always trapped inside the plasma screen. Despite there being many pleas for Leon to be set free from the plasma screen, he was not...well...not until the last episode of the show, when he was finally freed!

Every week, Leon would read a crap but mildly amusing poem about the events in the Big Brother House. Ah...and did I mention that Leon has a mighty fine voice too! mmm....cough...yeah. Mike was very persistant in trying to get Leon a date with an Up Late viewer, so I sent in a poem that I wrote:

An ode to the crew member of the week

Whilst watching Up Late my attention is usually on Mikey
But quite recently my attention has diverted ever so slightly
To your crew member of the week to put it precisely
Who recites poetry ever so nicely

How heartbreaking it was to hear of this beautiful boys desperation
And his search to find that special someone to ease his frustration
So pimp daddy Mike what is one to do
To make this boy happy with no further ado?

If you can give some suggestion
Perhaps even a clue
I will be happy to see what I can do ;)

Anyhoos...they didn't read it on air, and sadly I did not recieve the much anticipated reply from Leon. Of course I was heartbroken. Not. Mike then said on air that they had recieved a few emails, but none with pictures, sooooo....I was thinking...yeah...um...sending my picture will really lead to a reply...er...I don't think so...but I decided to send one in anyway, accompanied with another poem:

Here I am trapped inside the plasma screen
Not sure how I got in here
Or how I will get out
Maybe I will need Big Brother
Or Leon to help get me out!

Well...they didn't read this one out or reply either...but yeah...his loss...kekeke...pffft.
