Andrew Denton is a brilliant, amazing, intriguing, clever, funny (...in fact, so very wonderful that...oh no! - I've run out of descriptive words!) man who I have had much admiration for since I first saw him host his show, "Denton" which aired on Channel 7 in the 1990s. His show also introduced me to the comedic talents of Amanda Keller and Anthony Morgan, and I certainly have him to thank profusely for that :)

Prior to the show, "Denton", Andrew worked in both tv and radio on shows such as Blah Blah Blah, Beatbox, The Money or the Gun, and Live and Sweaty - all of which were hailed as being brilliant, but to be honest, if I saw or heard any of them, I was regrettably too young to remember them with any clarity. (*sigh* - bring on the dvd!)

Andrew was part of the Triple M Breakfast show team, and has also appeared on various tv shows such as The Glasshouse, "The House From Hell" with Amanda Keller, and hosted The Logies. Thankfully, he is now back on tv in his own show, Enough Rope, which I rarely miss an episode of as it is fascinating to watch. I particularly like the quote from the Enough Rope website that says, "We are all fascinating. It's just that some of us aren't famous yet."
